By using the Hopper Apps and Services, you may receive, buy, or earn, or be offered the choice or chance to earn or receive, buy, or earn, Hopper Carrot Cash value that can be applied to certain future bookings and/or purchases via the Apps and Services. Carrot Cash or Carrots may take two forms: Carrot Cash Stored Value; and Carrot Cash Rewards.
- Carrot Cash Stored Value. Carrot Cash or Carrots that you buy from Hopper, and/or receive in your Hopper Wallet in connection with a cash refund from Hopper, are prepaid digital funds that can be used by you for future purchases from Hopper and in the Hopper app only. Hopper will never charge you fees related to your Carrot Cash Stored Value, including for the purchase, issuance, activation, or use of Carrot Cash Stored Value. Your Carrot Cash Stored Value has no expiration date. Except where required by law, any balance associated with your Carrot Cash Stored Value is nonrefundable and non transferable, and may not be resold or redeemed for cash or other Carrot Cash, except for Carrot Cash Stored Value amounts created in your Hopper Wallet in connection with a cash refund from Hopper for a prior purchase, which may be converted to cash through the process provided in the Hopper App. Any refund related to a purchase made with Carrot Cash Stored Value will be credited back to the Carrot Cash Stored Value account used for the initial payment. Carrot Cash Stored Value may be purchased in any amount up to $500.00 USD, provided that Hopper may limit purchases to lower amounts in its discretion. Hopper may impose a cap on aggregate Carrot Cash Stored Value associated with a Hopper User Account at any time, and in an amount determined by Hopper at its sole discretion. The amount of your Hopper Carrot Cash Stored Value balance can be viewed within a Hopper App at any time, or by contacting Hopper Support at carrot-cash@hopper.com.
- Carrot Cash Rewards. Carrot Cash or Carrots that you do not buy, but receive from Hopper (other than as part of a cash refund) and/or earn in connection with any promotion, incentive, or reward can also be used by you for future purchases from Hopper and in the Hopper app only, subject to any terms, conditions, rules and/or restrictions communicated to you at the time of offer, grant, or receipt and/or as displayed in your Hopper Wallet in connection with such Reward (“Rules”). Carrot Cash Rewards are not the same as cash or Carrot Cash Stored Value. The Rules applicable to Carrot Cas Rewards may include restrictions on the nature of products, services, and fees to which Carrot Cash rewards may be applied. Hopper reserves the right to make changes to the applicable Rules for any Carrot Cash Rewards at any time. Carrot Cash Rewards are non-transferrable and have no actual cash value. You have no property interest in Carrot Cash Rewards. Carrot Cash Rewards may not be redeemed or exchanged for cash, or used for the purchase of Carrot Cash Stored Value. If not used within the time frame specified within the applicable Rules, the Carrot Cash Rewards will expire. Hopper may choose to discontinue a published Carrot Cash Rewards or incentive offer or program at any time, or your participation therein. If your use of the Apps or Services is suspended or terminated by Hopper for any reason, all Carrot Cash Rewards will expire immediately. Hopper is not obligated to compensate you for any value associated with expired or discontinued Carrot Cash Rewards.
- Carrot Cash General Terms. All Carrot Cash Stored Value and/or applicable Carrot Cash Rewards will be applied automatically at checkout for anty qualifying purchase. If the applied Carrot Cash amount is less than the total transaction amount, you authorize Hopper to charge your linked Payment Instrument in your Hopper User Account for the remaining transaction amount. Hopper disclaims all express or implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, as to Carrot Cash Stored Value and Carrot Cash Rewards, to the extent permitted by law. These Carrot Cash terms are subject to change in Hopper’s sole discretion, in accordance with applicable law. Hopper reserves the right to adjust the balance of Carrot Cash balance in the event of a clerical, billing, or accounting error. Transactions or corrections concerning Carrot Cash may be disputed by contacting Hopper Support within 60 days of the disputed transaction or correction.
- Carrot Cash Unauthorized Use. Hopper is not responsible for any unauthorized use of Carrot Cash associated with your Hopper User Account. You are solely responsible for loss or unauthorized use of any device from which your Hopper App and User Account may be accessible. To help secure your Carrot Cash, do not share access to your Hopper account with others. If you suspect that someone has accessed your account and/or used your Carrot Cash without authorization, contact Hopper Support at carrot-cash@hopper.com, immediately.
